"Friday, Jan. 29. A frosty 2am shot of the Moon at perigee and Mars (that slighty redish dot to the right) at opposition. Only point of the year when the Moon is ~50,000km closer to Earth, and Mars is give or take exactly ~99 million km from Earth. Outside temp was about -19C / 65%hm... so I just snapped this shot out the window. That moon was extra bright too."
