Yet another perspective
Side badges for 123 GT are unique.
123 GTs had these aluminum wheel rings. This car has all 4 in perfect condition. Also, new set of Michelin M4s 185s.
The front grills are in perfect condition. These often have dents since they are soft aluminum.
Side chrome is in great condition. Mirrors, both driver and passenger side, are genuine Volvo mirrors and door mounted.
Here you see the lack of roof chrome molding. The car came to me like this. I am interested if there are any other cars like this. Rear mud flaps are in very good condition.
123 GT Badge is seen here. Rubber for trunk lid and tail lights is new.
Front seats. a few worn spots on the passenger inside edge. Blaupunkt speakers were put in the doors ( not something I would have done ;) Seat foam on front seats is new along with seat webbing.

B20 (replacement for original B18). Valve cover is from IPD (I have original). SU carbs have been completely rebuilt, re-bushed and finely balanced. Stock Volvo blue air filters. All heater hoses and clamps are new Volvo OEM. Orginal Bosch distibuter has been rebuilt. Other than the B20, the intent is to keep as original as possible.
Carb side view of motor. Here you can see the original air filters and alternator. Hood rubber has been replaced throughout ( front and back and 8 smaller pieces )
Spark plug side view of the engine. The brake booster is an after market version as is commonly used since the original version will wear out and is very hard to find. You are also see the cast iron double down exhaust manifold which many think are better than a header since it gives off less heat and noise but offer great flow.

Nice view of the seats. These are the original seat covers with new foam upper and lowers.
Back seat is also original and in very good condition. Seat belts are original as well and in perfect working condition.

Close up of the SU carbs. These are the original SU HS6 model with 3 bolt patterns for the air cleaners. I specialize in rebuilding SUs and these were re-bushed and then a complete SU rebuild kit was used. I am currently running KD size jets and red springs. The pair was carefully synchronized and spark plugs where carefully inspected after various test runs to adjust jet / fuel levels.
Brand new heater control valve is seen here along with the new hoses and ABA type clamps.

IPD heavy duty sway bars have been installed on front and rear. This makes a major difference in handling.
View of one of the front Bilstein heavy duty gas shocks and the new springs. Together with the IPD sway bars handling is as good as it gets. Very fun to drive especially on winding roads!
View of the muffler. One of the few non stock mods are the 2 inch pipes and this free flow muffler. The stock iron double down exhaust manifold is used rather than an after market header. Over all noise is a little more than stock but much better power and freer flow.

Passenger side interior. This picture needs updating as my reclining seat braces were being repaired and what you see here are the older non 123 braces. The newer ones are all chrome and recline. Foam on front seats has been replaced as you can see from the puffy and full cushions. Also, hard to find in pristine condition on these cars are the one piece rubber floor mat!
