Berliner Mauerweg
A path that leads to nowhere, the path used by patrols on the east (here Brandenburg) side of the Wall
Rick looking at the S-Bahn tracks rebuilt after the Wall disappeared; it went straight across here.
another sign post
this section of the path is a "renaturalized" section of the former no-man's land
Where the Wall had a corner, so does the path. The barricaded road was a checkpoint for West-Berlin's garbage to be transported to the dump in the GDR (Brandenburg) just beyond the Wall. It still stinks, though it was closed in 1977.
