I don't know what to say about these pictures. I mean, there's not much backstory to most of them.
I like this picture. You see how much I'm sweating? You can see that where my camera bag and tripod are strapped on make a dividing line between the sweat drenched areas and the areas that mostly aren't. Sexy, yeah?
I'm surprised she held still long enough for this
I like the shots where just one or two fireworks show up. Any more and it's too busy. This one is nicely framed with the city below, I think.
I hope you don't think I'm going to caption 180 pictures of fireworks.
One of a couple that are kind of palm-tree-ish. There's one in here somewhere that's remarkably so.
Had my zoom lens on for this, and I'm glad. It's one of my favorite shots.
This is about when I realized I needed to change lenses, but I was afraid I miss something if I took it off.
Another of my favorites
Trying out stupid things with my camera
One of these should be Hello Kitty. I missed on the timing, so you can't see it very well. Sorry!
I can only assume that you couldn't see the sweatspots and muck all over my clothes in the light we were in, 'cause I didn't have any problems getting people to pose with me.
No shortage of cuteness around here...
A jimbei!
Grey and blue in one pose! There'a s cooler one with grey and a cool purple. I'm sure it's in here somewhere.
I have no idea what the guy up front is doing. Thhese guys were completely sloshed by the way.
I'll be he has less chest hair than most Western women do
This was *after* they got done posing. I have another one of them trying to direct each other around.
People not wearing yukata always tried to escape pictures. A quick cry of "Don't run away!" and their four friends dragging them back in usually worked.
While "May I take a pictuure of the back side of you?" might usually sound like a strange question, I realized I had very few pictures of bows. I ran over to the nearest people in yukata and made that request.
Girl on the left has the cutest expression
In the station in Otsu
The patter on this yukata reminds me of one of the bandannas I bought Jes when I worked at Wal-Mart
