My new board, a totally different animal compared with my Quatro quad. Flat and wide instead of narrow and fat. Still a lot of rocker though. And a thruster/trifin fin setup. Will be very interesting to try in small waves and light winds!

Nice day at Hookipa. Small 6ft swell and winds with cross-off direction gave rather clean waves in the middle of the bay. I had good power in my 5.0 on the outside. Tomorrow a big WNW swell is coming in...

Picked up my new 90L quad custom board at the Quatro works at Haiku this morning. After some photos on our Lanai I went straight to Hookipa to try it out. Worked great in the small swell, with tight bottom and topturns close to the lip. I went more vertical than I have ever done before. Does not feel as fast and quick on a plane as my brothers 85L. I think it is due to the added tailkick. Otherwise a really easy board to dial into. And with LOTS of extra volume while still feeling compact and snappy on the wave. Great board!

Really nice day at Kuau. Big swell and OK wind. I got some of the best waves of my life. I got a couple of mast high setwaves with a nice shoulder for safe exit. I played fairly safe staying outside the impactzone. Still 4-5 turns DTL top-to-bottom at high speed. Soo nice! Took som e pics at Kuau before I left, and stopped by at Hookipa to check out the action and some additional shots. Nice day and more wind tomorrow. :)

Nice sunday at Hookipa watching the big names out in the waves. Difficult conditions with big waves and a light tradewind. It was very interesting to see the guys individual styles riding the waves.

Bra dag med 12-15 m/s från SV. Grym vågridning nere i bukten! Man kunde få 10 cutbacks om man hoppade lite mellan sektionerna. Sideshore och uppåt logo. Klitten e helt klart najs!
