My 2008 Toyota Prius, fresh after washing it
To start the car, just push the Power button!
The Consumption screen shows how many MPG you're getting over time, currently, and also the amount of watt-hours you regenrated every five minutes.
Putting the car in reverse triggers a back-up camera, which I've found especially useful for parallel parking
The "Energy Monitor" screen shows you the hybrid engine in action. The car moves by switching between the electric motor, which is powered by the battery and the gasoline engine. When you brake or even coast, that energy is regenerated back into the battery so it can continue to push the electric motor to run the car, thus saving gasoline.
