Teiko has a new friend, Moosha, an 8-week old golden retriever. They got along fabulously with Teiko being very gentle with her.

Moosha learned very quickly that one must sit in order to get a treat. Look at the intensity of Teiko waiting for his treat.

When Teiko wasn't paying attention to Moosha, she would start growling and barking at him to start playing.
Beth and I built this stairwell down the hill to the new pier. Beth hauled the rocks on Sunday and I helped with the logs on Monday. It took us about 5 hours to build it. The ground here is basically peat, so it's really soft. We needed lots of stones to secure the log steps.
Looking up for the pier, you can see how the stairs meander through the trees as it goes to the top of the hill. With abundant rocks and logs on the property, it was pretty cheap to build this stairwell.
