A group photo after the last class before the final exam with the MBA micro class.
A second shot just to be sure.
Ani was a student in my MBA micro class.
And Ani has been to Mount Rushmore -- something I have never done!
Satenik is a member of that same class of MBA students.
This is AUA's first international student from China! Her name is Shengmin Tian, and she is very brave to come all the way from China to study for an MBA at an English-speaking university in Armenia.
Shogher is another student in the same class.
Arsen is also in that group, and is working with Alpha programs in Armenia.
Anna is a student in the MBA class I taught in macroeconomics.
Lilit is also in the second-year class (along with Anna). Lilit is a marvelous musician, and graduate of the state conservatory. Lilit helped us find a place for Elizabeth to practice and perform.
Here Elizabeth and I are with Lilit at the Jazzve cafe.
The contingent from the AUA School of Business and Management at the Spring Open House.
The room in which I taught the macroeconomics course.
Another shot of the room in which I gave the macroeconomics MBA lectures.
A few of my colleagues from the School of Business and Management: (from left) Alexan Simonian, Karen Hovhanissian, Associate Dean Purusottam Sen, and Gabriele Morello.
Dr. Morello out with us at a Russian-themed restaurant in Yerevan.
Dr. Sen with us at the same place.
Another of us with Professor Morello.
After the term ended in May, the first-year MBA class invited me and another of their first-term professors to spend a day with them in the country at Tsaghkadzor, a lovely resort town in Armenia. Here Gevorg prepares our khorovats -- delicious Armenian barbecue.
During the day in Tsaghkadzor, a few of us went on a walk to visit their lovely, historic Armenian church.
Shaking hands with first-year student Mikayel before leaving Tsaghkadzor. Our plane left the next morning.
With first-year student Regina. Regina is also a graduate of the conservatory.
Another photo with first-year MBA students before leaving Tsaghkadzor and Armenia. From left in the back are Ani, Shogher, Shengmin Tian, Lusine G, Gohar, and Lianna. In the front are Regina and Anahit.
With Regina, Shogher, Ani, Gohar, and Lusine G.
With Regina, Shogher, Ani, and Gohar. It was a lovely day in the country with a marvelous group of young men and women.
With the MBA class that graduated in October of 2006. I just missed having this group in class.
