Cleaned up POD adapter dispersion block. Replaced with regular dispersion block. Now ready for normal operation
Machine before take down and cleaning.
Another shot of machine before take down and cleaning. Tap cover graphics were worn so I replaced them. The left most tap was for an autofrother (can barely see it) I replaced with another steam arm
Grimy inside. Now its spotless!
More Grime. The autofrother is in the left fore ground. This was replaced with a steam arm.
Grime and more grime. Not so anymore!
Boiler fill solenoid
Dual gauge, boiler pressure and pump pressure
This is the boiler. Not very large compared to other commercial machines. This allows it to heat up relatively fast if being used for the home.
This use to be the tap for an old and worthless auto frother. I replaced with another steam arm.
Coffee encrusted on the right brew head.
Flowmeters
Pump. Works perfectly.
Gicar control unit
Look how nasty the brew head is. The brew head gasket was fused. It had to chip it out. The head cleaned up very nicely.
Very dusty
Motor works perfectly
Old Pod dispersion block. You can also see how well the brew head cleaned up. The brew head gasket was crusty and fused to the head.
Pressure switch.
Finished machine. Not the best picture due to the reflection of the stainless. The portafilters are old and the plating has been worn off. Its only cosmetic and they work perfectly. I even have a bottomless portafiler (New)
