Last dinner in Porto.
Last dinner with the local MBA class.
Last dinner.
Communist rally in Madrid outside our hotel.
Winnie the Pooh giving away swords to children. I am not sure what message that is sending to the kids. Something like, "Here you go kids...make sure you arm yourself!"
A peace banner was laid out in the Mayor Square. Anyone could sign it.
It is was neat to see, but I couldn't tell what they were going to do with it.
This is the Museo de Jamon (Museum of Ham). Spain loves it pork. Memphis BBQ would make a killing in this country, but I didn't not see any of it. When you order a hamburger in Spain, you actually get a burger made out of ham instead of beef. Pretty cool...and they are really good.
This is me on the balcony of our hotel. We stayed right in the center of the city. It was always busy, noisy, and crowded outside.
This is at a huge park in the city. It was about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. I went running there, picniced there, and looked at all the fountains. It is called the Park for the Retired. But I didn't see a whole lot of retirees there.
Some more of the park
A tree in the park that I liked
Spiderman, aka Will Hazelip, was in the park dancing and giving out balloons to kids. They were not swords like Winnie had.
This is the center of the park. You can take out boats on the lake and there are lots of areas to lay out and tan.
It is not really windy outside. This guy was below my window and was one of the many people that portray a scene and go out on the sidewalk to make money.
I went and saw a bull fight! This is the outside of the arena, which can hold 25,000 people. It is the biggest in Spain and I think all of Europe.
Here I am at the bull fight.
Here are about half of the Global Trackers at the bull fight
This is my class walking the streets of Madrid after lunch.
I am facilitating a discussion here. Look how I take command!
This is one of the beautiful lunches we were treated to. Many of the company's we visited provided us lunch. They were always amazing. This one was at Santander...the biggest bank in Spain and fifth largest in Europe or the World...not sure on the stat.
Me in the Santander city. This place had an 18 hole golf course, school for the kids, five restaraunts for the workers to choose from (and it was free), and tons of other facilities and perks.
A 2500 yr old olive tree in the Santander city.
Me at the Madrid Stock Exchange
Class at the stock Exchange
