These are the people I traveled with over the weekend. We had a wonderful time together.
The small, smelly tour bus.
Carl, who invited me on this trip, and I at the entrance to the park
Me in the Bamboo forest
Part of the a movie set in the Anji forest
This is part of the marriage ceremony.
The toddler and mom. If you look closely you can see a split in the kids pants. All babies wear clothes that let their front and backs hang out easily. They don't wear diapers and typically just do their "business" where ever they happen to be...such as the trash bucket on the small, smelly bus.
Carl and I at the movie set
I imagined myself skiing down the movie set ramp.
She wanted to marry me too, so I picked her up obligingly. I now an moving to Utah to avoid being arrested upon my return to the States;)

All the structures in the forest are made out of bamboo
The houses of bamboo creaked a lot but they nobody fell through
Lotus flower. I saw hundreds blooming as we drove past one area of the forest.
Me with a Lotus flower
A king on his thrown, with his sister giving him a hard time.
It was my turn to be king and Kah-mama was giving me a hard time (I think, but I really don't know what she was saying).
House of bamboo
Taking a rest in the bamboo house. This bed was as soft as my bed at my apartment.
Tea crop. It smelled great!

A fun ride in the park
"Sometimes I think people are just living in their own little bubble!"
The cool, battery powered cars we were took around the park.
These are a special fruit that grows wild in the park. It is also sold all over the streets of my town. In the park, you can eat all you want for free.
The texture and taste is almost like a strawberry, but the fruit is not as sweet.
Me dancing on the rope bridge
A crocodile chillin in the water. More than a dozen crocodiles lived below the bridge. The park employee dropped a duckling in the water so we could see them go after it. It was like Animal Planet...but sad:(
A waterfall in the park
The little guy checking me out. It took a long time for him to warm up to "the waiguoren", but he finally came around.
A view of the park from a mirror
Carl and I posing with a cool rock. What do you think the rock looks like?
View from the top
...and there I go! I got the fast horse that took off and never slowed till it completed the 1.5km race track. I believe it was the fastest I have ever been on a horse. I just held on and enjoyed the ride.
lazy river we went rafting on
Me paddling away
The other river we went on involved these bamboo rafts. It was one water fight after another, so I did not bring the camera. It was awesome to have all of us standing on the raft splashing all the other boats with water guns. I can't believe they let us jump around on these boats. Our lashings came undone at one point. Also, the benches are just sitting on the bamboo and can be picked up and moved around as needed. This would not fly in the US...it would be a lawsuit waiting to happen.
