I love how they smoothly navigated the trail around these great old palm trees...
I don't think they make a bicycle that does 90degree turns yet...
thankfully here they softened the 90 turns by adding that slight curve just before you have to make THREE 90 degree turns... all so you can carry along in a straight line of course!
note how the pavement next to the tree is uneven, then think about the low hanging branches... bust your balls or lose you head!
more uneven paving... and the return bike lane goes THROUGH a giant steel sign post!
this crossing on the outside of a roundabout is fantastic IF you don't have to stop... you can just see the bike symbol on the crosswalk, and once you made it across you hug the tree as you make a 90 degree turn (or go over the step and break your bike axle, balls, neck etc) to avoid the stairs! not only that, but you go around the elevated bit on the way back to cross another lane of traffic...
prime example of a trail ending dead, no really... it just ends here... no sign, nothing!
