Calligraphy and Water colors from the Shanghai Art Museum..a comprehensive Museum of over 120,000 piece of Art.
The Museum was completed in 1996 and is a modern and well kept facility designed by architect Xing Tonghe to evoke the image of Ding, an ancient Chinese vessel, and architecturally, a harmonious fusion of ancient and contemporary styles.
14 galleries house collections of bronzes, sculptures, ceramcs, paintings, calligraphy, seals, jades, coins, furniture and ethnic minority art.
In the time I had, I was only able to see the Paintings, seals and calligraphy....which I share with you.
