VERIFONESC5000Stand Cable Tether; Cable trapped UNDER leather tab that is closed at top of case to prevent accidental disconnection. Cable path may be routed through a slot to centralize exit. It has been strongly suggested this be carefully reconsidered; i.e.insert a a plugged socket connection in the cable so that, in the event of 1 in 1000 customer who drives off without returning the assembly to the window, the system does not suffer a unrecoverable disconnect. Simply plug in the spare and "good to go".
VERIFONESC5000 cord protection. Cord passed under Velcro fastened top flap. Design alternations may make this top flap assembly redundant; If cover flap is pulled over (as displayed elsewhere) and domed to the stand assembly the need for these two pieces becomes superfluous.

Possbly redundant. Top flap may replace this to secure device inside cover. However, if retained cord can pass under the flap to provide extra locational security.
