Coastal scenery and sea washed ironwork at Seaham, Co. Durham
A series of photos taken along the coast to the south of Seaham, Co. Durham. For a long time this was a heavily industrialised bit of coast with coal mines, ironworks, glassworks, etc., etc. - this has led to there being a lot of interesting and unusual bric-a-brac on the shoreline, as well as some fabulous plant and wildlife on the unique magnesium limestone coastal cliffs above.
