"Our daughter is moving sand to an area where tree roots are now showing. Above the bank we were given LOTS of new white sand (something we are happy about). We're drying out towels and a blanket that got wet. Today is the first day we can walk down there. All of Sunday (the 29th), the river receded until today it is back in its banks, slow again, and we will go kayaking on it this afternoon."

"The fence is gone, but I think I still see one tiny speck of green where the Christmas tree is still trying to survive. Now it looks like there's a current coming from the house. Or is that the house moving?"
