Mewcon 2011
Mewcon 3 was a rollicking New Year's party and anime convention in Portland, Oregon. Practically everyone was cosplaying, and some people wore as many as four costumes.
Some were from my "Cosplay Photography for Beginners" workshop, where I walked people through the basics of both modeling and photography! A good time was had by all, and I'll be putting this on at other conventions. Other photos are from the New Year's Eve party, the costume contest, the "dirty halftime show," and the swimsuit contest. All photos were taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XT camera with a 50mm f/1.8 lens. Almost all used a Canon 430EX flash with an Omni-Bounce flash diffuser for a soft fill flash.
