SIOP 2008 in San Francisco
April 9-13, 2008, I went to the SIOP conference in San Francisco. While I had a hellish time getting there and back with over 1000 flight cancellations by American Airlines due to some issue with their Super 80 planes, the time I spent in SF was absolutely fantastic! My presentation entitled "The Attenuating Effects of Social Sharing on Emotional Labor Outcomes" garnered a lot of interest, and I was really proud because for the first time ever, I presented without using my notes! And then, I got to see Birgit, Brian and Ulrike! Birgit and Brian showed me so much more of SF than I would have been able to see on my own. We had gorgeous weather and a great time. Thank you guys for doing all of that for me!
