Istanbul: Hotel Poem
Yes, it is really true, we stayed at Hotel Poem. Our last three nights in Istanbul. It was sweeter than we could have hoped, a small hotel, 17 rooms, in a lovely setting, and in an area of the old city walking distance to the Blue Mosque, the Palace, the Cistern. The area around it was especially charming, small streets, crafts sellers and little markets and lively restaurants at night, a feeling of vitality and art. It was indeed a poetic place, and each room had it's own poem.
