1726 Dutch bible with silver clasps.
This was the bible of Catalyntje Verplanck (CPV initials on silver clasp)
The front and back of the bible iare signed Johannis Witbeck. Issac Witbeck,
The front is also signed Leonard Witbeck Coeymans and Helen Witbeck Coeymans and also says “Catrine Houk daughter of Nicholas Houk was born May 12th 1776. I believe Catrine Houk married Issac Witbeck, but there is no record in this book.

Catalyntie Ver Planck born June 19th 1698 married on 2/23/1734 Leendert Witbeck born July 3rd 1692. They had a son Johannis Leendert Witbeck who was born June 5th 1737. Johannis married Cornelia Huyck.
This bible lists 4 of Johannis Leenderts sons and a grandson David Witbeck (son of Issac Witbeck)
