0713, 14 Grad Trip_Vancouver-in-the-Rain Day1, 2
After leaving my-4-month-living in Calgary, I started my 9-day lonely journey for Canada's and the State's west coast cities. The first stop is Vancouver. Vancouver, a coastal harbor city in British Columbia, is the third-largest metropolitan area in Canada and most populous in Western Canada. Besides, Vancouver has also ranked highly in worldwide "livable city" rankings for more than a decade according to The Economist. However, what confused me is, since there is endless rain and gray clouds in Vancouver, how would this city be elected as a livable city? Actually, during my 3 days in Vancouver, it rained EVERY DAY! I couldn't go anywhere except staying at my room! Shoot, I didn't pay for this!!
離開了待了4個月的卡加利，在離開加拿大前把握最後機會造訪美加的西岸城市。第一站是加拿大本土西岸的溫哥華。溫哥華是加拿大英屬哥倫比亞省低陸平原地區一沿岸城市，它是加拿大西部最大的都會區，以同時也是僅次多倫多和蒙特婁後，全國第三大的都會區。溫哥華近年經常在各項世界最佳居住城市的調查中名列前茅，但令我不解的是，有「加拿大雨都」的溫哥華，一年有將近一半的日子是下雨天/沒有太陽的日子，人都要發霉憂鬱了，怎麼還會是宜居城市啦! 嘖~
