Abby 1st B-day 2009
Pictures from Abby's 1st birth day party at Hillsborough River State Park.Thanks to everyone who attended. I believe your willingness to come out in the face of such terrible weather required a little faith and a strong desire to support Abby on her 1st birthday. The 5 page invitation had a story about Abby seeing fairies in the woods on past trips and how Abby has been making friends with them. Abby even has an alias among the fairies, Abbigail Cottonfog. Well, this morning I had the privilege and the pleasure to put her down for a nap before the party and I suggested to her that if she asked the fairies nicely and dreamed of sunshine on her face that maybe they could fix the weather for her. I told her a story about how the sun kissed the fairies when the earth was first made and since there are so many in that forest perhaps if she asked nicely they would ask the sun to shine for her. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep and I guess her wish came true. Thanks again
