Andrew rocking the "make-the-baby-word-from-mixed-up-letters" game
I was not rocking the game.
Scarlet, in the middle, will make a lovely television host someday. She was the baby shower MC for the night.
Andrew lost terribly to Juanito in the drinking-sugar-water-quickly-from-a-bottle game.
Our pastor Mario, on the right, competed against my boss Juan, on the left, to see who could diaper and dress a doll the fastest. He won, although everyone agreed Juan's baby looked better in the end.
The blindfolded spoon feeding game. Kind of gross.
The entertainment for the night.
Delicious.
Church members at the baby shower.
Beautiful jovenes with pregnant gringa.
Displaying Bean and my presents.
The market in Tegucigalpa
What else do we need???
The market is set up in the parking lot of the Olympia team stadium, in the back, every Friday and Saturday.
Plaza de los Dolores, the oldest church in Tegucigalpa. Also has the most pigeons.
Me, Adam, and Andrew.
Claudia, on the right, grilled chicken, sausage, and beef, which we ate with tortillas, refried beans, fresh salsa and cheese. So good!
Andrew's co-workers from revistazo.com
Don Juan comes to the library every day selling corn related pastries. I don't really like corn products that much, but always end up buying something. Could you say no to this man?
My favorite tortillas ladies.
Henry, our neighbor. Henry has fallen from the roof of the building on the left, which has been under construction all year, twice now. I still catch him peeking over the edge.
Our local butcher.
Alba and Mario Cantor outside their house. Mario is our pastor.
I mainly buy veggies at the butchers because I am somewhat intimidated by the hanging beef.
The street above our house.
