Eldridge Street Synagogue
Interior views of this landmark synagogue. Opened in 1887, it was the first large shul built by Eastern European Jews. It continues to be used by Congregation Kahal Adath Jeshurun even as it now functions as a museum.
Sorry these aren't all perfectly sharp. Flash isn't allowed, and I had to do my best by existing light without a tripod.
For more information on the synagogue, as well as some excellent professional daytime photos of the interior, visit the website at http://www.eldridgestreet.org/index.html
