Bohol Escapade 2009

We visited Bohol and found so many things to love about this place. We stayed in Amorita and enjoyed their infinity pool and the villa with its private plunge pool. We had a great time playing in the white sandy beach and seeing so many starfish. We visited the many tourist spots around Bohol - Chocolate Hills, the tarsiers, Baclayon Church, Bohol Bee Farm, the hanging bridge, Prony the python, the Blood Compact Monument and the Loboc River.

Zambales Summer 2009

We spent a few days with Super Lolo in San Marcelino. He brought us to his fishpond where Chino and Trixi tried their luck in catching fish. They also found a river where they cooled off on that hot summer day.

TLFH Culminating Activity and Last PTC

It was time to say goodbye to TLFH, Trixi's second home for the past two years. The Preschool Department chose The Little Prince for their culminating activity, with music by The Beatles. The Level II girls were beautiful flowers. Two days after that, Trixi said goodbye to some of her teachers and friends.

TLFH 2009 Field trip: Intramuros

Today was Adventure Day for the TLFH preschool students. It was still dark when the kids went to school and it was already dark when they got back from the field trip. It was a long day, tiring really, but fun nevertheless.

Level II Dragon Dance

It was an early Chinese New Year celebration in Bahay Kwitib. Level II performed the Dragon Dance all around HEdCen to bring good luck.

Assorted December 2008 photos

We had a busy December. We watched Repertory Philippines' "A Christmas Carol". We had dinner with the Eglis (Uncle George, Tita Gay, Nathan and Christian) who flew in from North Carolina. We spent a day in Timberland with Tito John, Tita Tintin and Raffy, plus Lolo and Nana and Lolo Ben and Lola Mila. We wanted to go swimming but it was too cold. We drove to Zambales to be with Super Lolo for Christmas lunch. Then we had Christmas dinner in Marikina with the Alikpalas.

Last Night with Raffy

It was the last time we saw Tito John, Tita Tintin and Raffy before they left for New Zealand. We all had dinner in Marikina. It will be some time before we see them again. We miss you!
