It was a Christian wedding, but it is not as you would expect from Europe. Kerala is predominantely Syrian Orthodox Christians.
Fort Cochin - was one of big trading ports for Portugese and this is felt strongly through the colonial architecture.

There are two options in India when you want something. Either it is a rugby scrum or a perfect queue - I guess they inhereted this from the British and "improved" it, i.e. made the gap between people much smaller :). Thank god they have a separate queue for women (which is much smaller) which meant that Lara was buying all the tickets.
Kovalam - one of the main seaside places in Kerala. Kerala is well known as an Indian turist destinations and it is one of THE honeymoon places for north Indians. What was interesting to observe is the tension between north and south - the south doesn't really like the north. You could almost call them rasist.

The backwaters of Kerala. You can rent a boat with a driver and a cook and they take you around the backwaters. It is not the cheapest thing on the planet, but also not the really expesive for what you get and it is well worth it!! Beautiful landscape, brilliant food and peace...
