Is this Dave's Dogleg? either that, or just past it.
Fencing at the rock really needs help, probably at least two people and a ladder. I took pix in case it helps plan the fix.
early part by the rock - the rock is actually in the sun, so it really needs to be fixed before it melts the snow around it. Right now, its amazingly wide and smooth through there!
Nice skate and classic tracks - amazing job by the groomers! They worked Tue, Wed AND Thur to get this all ironed out!!
some backcountry skis already went through here and widened it a bit. Lower road tracks were untouched yet so they were super crisp! :)
getting out in the meadow
loop at the top of the meadow! Better coverage than we had last March! ...or at least that's what Tarik says.
this is bottom of the top of the meadow :)
This is where we would be going into the Caldera for an additional loop of trail... but that hasnt come through yet...
Dave and Fay. Temporarily reduced to snowshoeing post knee surgery, avalanche accident and bike accident. They are hardcore!
They said they cant wait to get back on skis :)
last hill on the lower road back to point A.
Tarik and friendly trail user at Point A. Said he appreciated the lower road being groomed and open to all (snowshoes, dogs etc) to allow for easy/further access farther into Canada Bonita for those who are interested.
Camp May road to the ski hill parking and our trailhead isnt bad as of Dec 11th. Plowed and mostly clear (some slushy, slippery, deeper stuff in the downhill lane still).
totally clear here.

Lunch skiing on Friday Feb 5th, 2010. View from Point A - lots and lots of snow and more coming!! :) Compare to same shot earlier (4th from top) in this album!
Despite a fresh grooming job from the night before, by noon the next day Point A and most of the trails were really chewed up by all the traffic! Our trails are apparently quite popular :)
This part coming into Point A from top trail always gets worn off/scraped off/melted off first even with all the snow. However, the next day we noticed some very considerate and helpful shoveling done here to prevent/delay this problem. Turns out some proactive club members did that after noticing the need. Thank you so much!!
note how much lower the banner looks now. More snow coming!

a stray triclub member Martin, who has gotten back into skiing this year. We also saw Jeri from the triclub who was a skating maniac up there! :)
