This is the Front Range rosette named for the Rocky Mountains where I live. The image looks like the mountains and the sapwood reminds me of the sky. The purfling is shop made Grain of Wheat purfling giving a very western American flavor. Thanks to the Milburns for giving me the technique and Andrew Teoh for sponsoring the commission.

Luigi and Anna Morelli collect Native American Art so Anna commissioned the Rainbow Guardian Rosette to surprise Luigi on their anniversary. It was quite a challenge yet turned out pretty true to the genre all in inlaid veneers.
The Concert Grand with its offset soundhole requires a different approach to a rosette. I do vary the choice of wood from guitar to guitar. This one is in Belizian Rosewood Burl.
