Sylvia, my grandmother's sponsored student in Santa Ana, El Salvador
My grandparents were missionaries in El Salvador from 1941-1945. They served in Santa Ana and then were the first A/G missionaries in San Salvador.
For a number of years, Grandma has sponsored a child through Latin American Child Care. We were able to meet Sylvia, visit her home, and have some pizza (her favorite food) with her and her family. She's amazing. When I walked in, she called me "primo" (cousin). It was fun.
