Inside second gate.. actualy we have already crossed 3, two in vehicle. There are a total of seven levels of defence at Daulatabad fort to ward off any kind of enemy. Only enemy it could not keep out was the corruption within.. Better to have a known enemy than greedy disguised fow within your fort.

The narrow bridge below is the only entrance thru this line of defence..
The entire fortress beyond this is surrounded by such trench that are full of crocodiles and snakes
Next level of defence .. Bloody impressive. Deception and psych factor used extensively here.
confused is either killed and pushed thru such narrow passages or they fall directly to death confused in dark tunnels.
