Antaru Festival 2007
GBC was invited to perform at the Antaru Festival in Yoyogi Park.
The Antaru Festival Project is designed to nurture the spirit of peace that is ever present and rapidly growing in our world, as well as provide a model for the future of the peace movement. It’s an opportunity to experience the actualization of peace through a from of celebration that dissolves boundaries between individuals, races and cultures. This act of bringing people closer together is achieved by sharing of unique cultural customs, as well as varieties of ethnic culture, food and music within the festival itself.

Thanks to Fabio Baiano and students from Nação Capoeira, Toshio and students from Capoeira Nação and the GBCJ crew for making it down to Yoyogi Koen on this fine, sunny day for the Antaru Festival.
Really nice presentation despite the cool weather, and a nice open roda afterwards. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
