the zoo
These are a few pictures we took at the zoo on Saturday (8.11.07). We were impressed by the wide variety of animals (tigers, bears, rhinos, hippos, crocs, primates, reptiles, fish and birds) but mostly by how closely we could get to them (notice me and Si next to the elephant). Admission was only $5 including the admission we had to pay for our camera. This was about $75 less than it would have cost our family to go to the PDX zoo- so we were pleased. We intend to visit it regularly- Si loved it, all except the baboon that tried to grab him through the cage.
