27th Jan 2008: Construction of the new town centre is under way. The new filling station starts to take shape.
31st Jan 2008: One of two giant fuel tanks for the new filling station arrives on site.
12th Feb 2008: The first sections of the new Tesco Extra store and shopping mall are erected.
19th Feb 2008: Demolition of the loading bay of the old Tesco store. The old store will continue trading, but must make do without its loading bay, which ovelaps the footprint of the new store and mall.
8th March 2008: Construction of a new access road at the town centre.
5th April 2008: The new filling station shortly before opening day.
