Just Kids

The future generation of Sri Lanka. Still, they are happy kids! But what a shame that still no system exists so that they can all attend ONE common school. NGO's have constructed even more SEPARATIST schools in the coastal belt. Another, good chance to learn each other's cultures and respect each other for life has gone. Another lost generation????

Arugam's Sigiriya

Just a few km south west of the Bay,off the beaten track you will find awsome, free, unspoiled Countryside. The rock resembles Sigiriya. The lake looks great: Don't swim there! iT'S FULL OF CROCKS.

New Arugam Lagoon

Every year a huge sand bank forms a new lagoon at Arugam bay. In the process, a baby-style paddling pool is created. In addition to the huge waves this makes AbaY into a beach destination for the entire family and non-swimmers
