Trip to Commonwealth War Graves in France and Belgium
Trip to the Commonwealth War Graves in France and Belgium on 14 & 15 October 2009. Initially visiting Flesquieres Hill British Cemetery, and Pheasant Wood near Fromelles in northern France. Then Berks Cemetery Extension, and Hype Park Corner for the Ploegsteert Memorial. In the evening we attended the Menin Gate Last Post ceremony. The following day we visited Tyne Cot Memorial. Finally we visited the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, near Poperinge.
