"My wonderful spiritual friend Sam Lewis whom I first met in Haight Ashbury in 1966. Sam later became Sufi Sam. He was an incredible inspiration though I was a rebellious son who refused to walk in his shoes. I returned to college in 1968 because of Sam. We took classes together at UC Extension. he enlightened me but also left me to flonder in my own darkness. Kind soul!"
