Louise Camirand with her boyfriend at a bar called The Georgian, which was in Lennoxville. Camirand frequented this bar, as did a suspect in the murders.
Louise Camirand was a member of the Sherbrooke Hussars whose headquarters were located here on the map (she would spend some of her evenings her, and would take the bus along King Street to get here)

King's Hall Compton, Quebec. Where 180 students were housed with limited supervision by Champlain College, approximately 10 miles from the school's main campus.
Site where two hunters stated they saw clothing matching the description of the clothes Theresa Allore was last seen wearing. Hunters saw the clothing over the weekend she disappeared. Attempts to recover the clothing were unsuccessful.
February, 1980. After midnight. Nicole Couture is attacked in a downtown Sherbrooke parking garage. Her attacker, Luc Gregoire, uses his hands and attempts to choke her. Gregoire confides to her that he has raped 4 or 5 women previous to Couture. Gregoire is French. He is a short man with dark hair. He was recently kicked out of the military. He sometimes worked in construction as a roofer.
Luc Gregoire lived with his mother in this home along the Magog river, just across the Jacques Cartier bridge where Louise Camirand was last seen. Gregoire later moved out West. He is currently serving a life sentence for the 1993 murder of Lailanie Silva in Calgary. Police have interviewed Gregoire and do not consider him a suspect in Theresa's death.
October, 1980. Afternoon. "Sexual Assault Victim A" is attacked by man on route 143, one mile south of MacDonald road. She is placed in the back seat of a gold car. Man is French, might have worn black military boots. "Victim A" draws a sketch, police lose it. Police find a tool, a file or an ice pick in the bushes.
August, 1980. 12:00 noon. "Assault Victim D" is almost forced into a car near the Caisse Populaire at Union and Belvedere. Man is French, has dark hair. Drives a car with a baby seat in the back. Years later, sister-in-law has similar encounter with man with a baby seat in the car. Sister-in-law takes down license plate. Incidents not reported.
April 1979. Waterville. "Sexual Assault Victim F" is abducted and raped by French man with large, red screwdriver. Near route 143.
April 30th, 1979. Afternoon. The girl who was attacked in the apple orchard is targeted for another sexual aggression while jogging. Man in security guard uniform exposes himself. Corner of MacDonald and Route 143.
October 1978. Assault on the School campus. Man tries to jump woman at night. Reported to police.
October 1978. "Sexual Assault Victim C" is raped over a series of weeks in her apartment on Bel-Horizon. Attacker uses gun alleged have been used in a murder. Bel-horizon runs between Belvedere and route 143. She reports the assaults to the police.
Spring 1978. Daytime. Champlain student Carolyn Rowell is picked up somewhere near the old Hells Angels bunker. She is driven to a remote location. There, a stare-down ensures between herself and the driver. The man eventually lets her go, unharmed.
January 1977. A Champlain student - "Sexual Assault Victim G" - hitchhikes from Sherbrooke to the residence back at Compton, Quebec. The driver of the car drives passed the residences and parks in the shadows down Cochrane road. There he sexually assaults her in his car.
January and February 1978. Many reports of assaults on the Champlain college campus. Short man in jeans and green parka sited. Reported to the police.
Sometime in 1978. "Assault victim B" is forced into a car. She suffers a gash when she jumps from the moving car. Details unknown, though assault may have taken place just North of Champlain college.
Summer 1977, 12:00 noon. "Sexual Assault Victim E" is picked up at the corner of Portland and Jacques Cartier. Driven to a remote location by a short, French man. She describes him as “military stupid”. Man attacks her in the car with a large screwdriver. Victim reports incident to police.
A man who lived on this street in the late 1970s had a violent past. He was known to frequent the Bishop's Pub and The Georgian (where Louise Camirand hung out). He went hunting the weekend Theresa disappeared, shortly after he sank into depression. He allegedly brought his family to the site where Theresa's body was found on two occasions. This was at the time before news media picked up on Theresa's story. Police have interviewed this man and they believe he is not a suspect.
June 26, 1984 four people (3 men and a woman) were found dead off Chemin Vaillancourt in Compton The killings, committed by members of the Pouliot family were retaliations (the victims ransacked the Pouliot cottage in Memphremagog) The victims were all shot in the head and thrown over the guard rail. Jean-Luc Pouliot (father) and his sons, Mario, Ronald, Serge and a friend name Andre Maheu were arrested for the killings.
