ALFAS konference
ALPHA conference in Riga, November 5-6, 2011 ||
200 participants from all over Latvia gathered in Riga to celebrate God's work through the well known Alpha course. They were greeted by Zbigņevs Stankevičs, the Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church of Latvia, and by Pēteris Sproģis, the Bishop of the Union of Baptist Churches in Latvia.
Keynote speakers:
Rinalds Grants, Lutheran pastor (also chairman of the National Alpha Council); Rihards Rasnacis, Roman Catholic priest; Edgars Mažis, Baptist pastor (also host of the conference).
Guest speakers from Switzerland:
pastor Martin Stoessel, Dominik Reifler, Andreas Ruegger-Kaspar, Rolf Schwarzmann, Damaris Schwarzmann, Marc Widmer, Matthias Krauer, Juerg Pfeiffer, Barbara Pfeiffer, Myriam Knecht.
The Alpha conference was organized by the National Alpha Council and St.Gregor's Christian Mission Center, hosted by Āgenskalns Baptist Church.
