Julie wanted to stop and fish at this point, but I encouraged her to keep on.

Home for the second night. It looks suspiciously like home for the first night, but this time the tent is a few thousand feet higher and has spent considerably more time in a backpack to get there.
One of too many photos I took whilst experimenting with my hiking pole as camera unipod (as opposed to a tripod, eh?).
But that means there's lots of water in this here mountain lake/swamp for fishies. Can you even see 'em in there?

We stopped outside the Molybdenum Manufacturing Plant, or some such, to take this photo. I did expect security personnel to surround the car, but no. I took the photos and we continued on our way.
