Lyman Lake State Park in Arizona
There were reports that Lyman Lake State Park would be closed during the early part of 2009. Upon hearing this news we headed to Lyman Lake to spend a few nights before its closure. It turned out that the park wasn't closed, but on 16 January 2010 it was decided that the park would be closed on 22 February 2010. The pictures in this album were taken during Presidents Day weekend of February 2009.

We visited Artesia, New Mexico, on 1 July 2009. I remembered when we got of the car I mentioned how it smelled like oil. We later discovered that there was an oil refinery on one end of Artesia's Main Street.
