Cockpit of my 747 - from my seat.
Hong Kong Harbor from my hotel room. Hong Kong is a beautiful city, especially at night. Almost more beautiful than NYC, with the skyscapers, mountains, and the harbor.
Shanghai on the road to Suzhou - never saw the sun in Shanghai
Most of my pics were taken during a weekend sightseeing tour of Beijing - Beijing restaurant - near The Forbidden City
Great Wall
Beijing - everywhere, both here an in Shanghai, there were construction cranes. On a day trip from Shanghai to Suzhou, two hours highway drive, we were never out of sight of construction cranes like these. That haze is smog.
Gateway at the Summer Palace
“The Bird's Nest” 2008 Olympic Stadium - under construction. Our driver scammed his way inside the construction site so we could get closer.
Peking Duck - yum!
Dinner of Peking Duck
Every part of the duck is served, including feet (ugh..), heart, liver (fried and boiled), wings (in 2 or 3 different configurations), and crispy, melt-in -your-mouth skin. The meat is served in a tortilla, with plum sause, onions, celery, etc (shown in trays in upper left).
Hao Hai Bar district in Beijing, where we stopped for a much needed drink! ;-)

Art students I met at Tiananmen square - I bought the two on upper right, plus a couple of other pieces
The next shots are some of the paintings on display at the art gallery I visited.
Watercolor I bought at Art Gallery near the Forbidden City. The red wall is the Forbidden City (red is the Imperial color). I ran this path one day (sans snow).
