Downtown Reno, Nevada
The next work day after Christmas, 2008, I took a quick stroll in Downtown Reno to the Truckee River with my newest companion, the Canon PowerShow SD1100IS Digital Elph, to see what it could do. I got this little camera so I could have a decent snapshot camera with me at all times in case I didn't have my beloved Canon Xsi with me. This little guy, which I will call “Boh” as it is Bohemian Brown (just what I wanted!), didn't do too badly! I used the camera in as full manual mode as I could get it to do, and superfine quality. I don't think it did half bad. Note the pics of the hoppin' ice skating rink along the river, the historic Downtown Post Office (89501) and other various architectural beauties. It's nice to work near such a nice place.
