Arsenal Shirts - Home Shirts

Here are my Arsenal FC home shirts. A rather splendid cornucopia of red and white. Or a complete waste of time and money perhaps? You decide. I think this album does a great job of highlighting what a crap photographer I am. I might re-shoot these one day, just as soon as I get a tripod, some lights, a tailor's dummy and a studio that is not my kitchen. Don't hold your breath though.

Arsenal Shirts - Away and 3rd Shirts

This is my rather sad collection of Arsenal away shirts dating back to the early 1970s, when Z-Cars was still on TV, Jeremy Bear was on the Sugar Puffs box, fish and chips came wrapped in newspaper, Huddersfield Town were in League Division One, and everything allegedly cost less than a Shilling. Or not. Anyway, here they are in all of their yellow, blue, green and now white glory.

Arsenal Goalkeeper Shirts

Here are my Arsenal Goalkeeper Shirts. As worn by Pat Jennings, John Lukic, David Seaman, Jens Lehmann etc. etc. Ever since Nike started supplying Arsenal's shirts, things have been a little crazy; we've had at least 2 new goalkeeper shirts each year, sometimes as many as 4, and very few of them have been sold as replicas. This collection is my sad attempt at keeping up with my neighbours just down the road at Nike HQ! By the way, should any of you find yourselves in sunny Beaverton, there's a great Chinese restaurant right next to Nike. It is not at all fancy, but the food is really good. It is called China Town (or maybe Chinatown), and it's on the corner of Walker Road. It's at the junction of Murray and Walker in fact; a splendid address for motor racing fans.

The saddest man in the World...

... or so my friend Mary Nightingale once said. She has a point don't you think? I mean, how many Arsenal shirts does one person need? Anyway, this is me, and in the picture I am enjoying a splendid pint of London Pride at my local pub, the Bell and Crown. Oh joy!
