View up our route to Reynolds that proved to be fairly vertical bush whacking. We decided this looked terrible and would take too long so we decided just to go back to the trail and head up to the pass between Reynolds and Rennie Peak
lots of fireweed on the way in, as we passed through patches that had burned
Frank and Brian on the Reynolds Creek Trail
our final destination was the low point up there
The impressive north face of Reynolds
I think this is a wolf print because there were signs at the trailhead regarding wolves. I thought it could have been cougar too, but i think this site helps: http://www.bear-tracker.com/caninevsfeline.html
we had to cross this scree to finally reach the pass
Brian walking amongst larches. This would be amazing in fall
Reynolds Peak from the pass
The upper northwest ridge...a potential route
amazing meadows over the pass
Frank trying to get some pictures of us
Tupshin Peak is the pointy one in the foreground with Devore behind to the left and Bonanza peeking out behind

Reynolds and some big larches
Tupshin, Devore, and Bonanza (from front to back)
The other side of the pass looks quite different
Abernathy Peak in the distance
Cardinal, Emerald and Saska on the left and on the right is Pinnacle Mountain
The valley we hiked up, with a bit of a burn area
we hiked up here a little bit to get better views
