Drilled a hole in the bottom for the phone cable
Cut a hole for the phone into styrofoam
Cut holes for the axle and servos
Fitting check
Phone comes through the bottom to sit flat on the board
Started adding duct tape to protect the styrofoam
Edges covered
Fully taped up
Fully covered now to protect all sides. I then cut holes in the tape where pieces needed to go.
Now with holes cut into the tape for the parts to fit in their place.
Breadboard and wiring for the servos and phone are in place. The inverter chip up front is used to upconvert the 3.3v out of the phone into 5v
Bottom of the bot showing the wiring path for the servos and hole for the HTC USB breakout board and wires.
Side shot with the Arduino board in place and held down with tie straps.
Shot from above to see placement of the parts. It is a bit front-heavy and I should have put the battery on the breadboard side.
All wired up
Ready to roll!
