Steps in building Dynaco ST-70 Amplifier Kit designed by Bob Latino, assembled by Arnold Matthews
This is a newly reengineered and technically enhanced version of the old classic Dynaco 70 Stereo amplifier that first appeared in 1959. The new amplifier by Bob produces a superior and truly wonderful sound and with well engineered and extremely robust components, is built to last. The amplifier shown in the photographs was constructed by Arnold Matthews in the first few days of January 2008 and photographed by him as the project progressed. The amplifier constructed at a leasurely pace, taking 5 days to complete. Since this was a present from my son Colin and now daughter-in-law, Anne Marie, I thought I would photograph the construction so they, and people building the amplifier, would later be able to see it all happen.
