Team Captain, Bruce B.
Robbins enjoys the rollers along Pleasants Valley.
The Valley was an incredible green all over, but the roadside was crazy with all kids of wildflowers as well. Not peak yet, but still amazing.
Bruce leads Phil and Carlos into just one of the many twists and turns in the road.
Control #2
Carlos had asked that riders photograph the bikes used on the Fleche. This is Carlos' randonneuring rig. Note the wooden fenders.
My Ed Litton Randonneur. It served me so well on the ride.
Bruce's custom Calfee
This is Robbin's custom Bruce Gordon Randonneur bike. A really gorgeous build. You might recognize this if you attended the NAHBS in in San Jose several years back.
Phil M.'s Randonneuring rig.

County Line between Napa and Sonoma county, and the high point between the Napa and Alexander Valleys.
The weather here was great, if a wee bit chilly, but we worried that the morning forecast for Sunday would in fact bring rain.
Crossing the Russian River (for the first of several times on the ride.)
A brevet photo inspired by Mark Thomas. That's a Racer 5 IPA, that is 33% gone!
Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, pre-dawn.
