"Without a doubt, the grand masters of the guitar." —Joaquin Rodrigo, composer
An institution in the world of classical music, the Romeros have dazzled countless audiences and won rave reviews worldwide. According to the New York Times, "Collectively, they are the only classical guitar quartet of real stature in the world today; in fact, they virtually invented the format." The sons and grandsons of late founder Celedonio Romero continue his legacy and the family's unique virtuosic mastery of the classical guitar. Their hundreds of concerts worldwide include appearances with the major symphonies of the United States, Europe, and Asia, as well as concerts at Carnegie Hall, at the White House, for Pope John Paul II, and for the Prince of Wales.
