Rylan Plays Soccer in La Crosse

Rylan O'Brien, Joel's cousin, played soccer on Tuesday, June 26th in La Crosse. Rochester did beat La Crosse 2-1. Rylan is number 39.

Joel and Josh Saylor umpired a high school varisty double header in the Metro Dome in the middle of the night. It was fun to see them in such a large venue.

A Dark and Snowy Night... and Weekend

We received officially 12 inches of snow overnight on Friday. We had our friends Peter and Emily Jantz over to play Wii and hang out. We even had to shovel before Emily and Peter could get out of our driveway. Along with the snow came thunder and lightening. I can't remember a time where there was thunder and lightening with a snow storm.

We attended a New Year's Eve Party at our friend's house--Matt and Sara Bedalov. We had fondue and played lots of Wii until the wii hours of the morning.

ALL the Smith's (were only missing Sarah and Brandon) convened in Middleton, WI @ my aunt and uncle's house. We celebrate Christmas with a meal and a game to distribute the presents for the adults.

2006-12 Christmas @ Jellystone

We celebrated Christmas with my family at Jellystone in Warrens, WI. Mom won a two night stay along with passes to the waterpark. I worked at Jellystone in high school and college. It has changed a bunch since then.

2006-10-08 Green Bay Packer Game

We went to the Green Bay Packer game at Lambeau Field with my mom and Aunt Sandy. Our seats were wonderful, we were on the 30 yard line behind the Packers' bench in the 9th row. My Uncle Mark's family has season tickets which we were lucky enough to get to use on my birthday!! Unfortunately, the Packers didn't realize it was my birthday with a birthday win. They lost 23-20 to the St. Louis Rams. We did enjoy great weather and an interesting game until the last 30 seconds or so when Favre fumbled the ball near the end zone.
