On my way into town I had passed this road several times, but this day I finally decided it was about time i took a picture of it before fall arrived.
he University in Trondheim (NTNU) at it's prettiest. The sun was very bright that day, and as I was passing the school, it looked like a little castle up there on the hillside.
This was taken by my ex, and I guess she must have caught me at a good moment, because I really like this picture allot. It's clear, and at the same time there's this slight blur in the background, giving it some extra depth.
This was taken a late summer day. I had recently gotten a hold of a new camera, and was eagerly trying out my first steps to taking close-ups. This one I feel didn't turn out as good as I hoped, with the blur on the flower itself, but I still really enjoy the vibrance of it.
A friend and Mewere out walking in town, when we stumbled upon this sight. I really liked the bright summer day feel to it.
A friend of mine gave me a four-leaf clover the other day, so i decided I wanted to put it in a shotglass. After staying there for a couple of days, a droplet emerged. It looked so nice that i just had to grab a picture of it.
I yearly visit my mom and dad at christmas, and every time it's the same thing. Set up a christmas tree, get the lights and decorations going etc. Well, I was sitting there, watching the tree, when I suddenly realized, wouldn't it be cool if I could capture the world inside the tree? So here's the result. The picture turned a little "Christmas-blur", but I think it looks cool.
Alina and I was having a walk one day, when we decided taking a trip ut to kuhaugen to catch a glimpse of the setting sun. Turns out this made entire Trondheim light up like a ghost town. I think this picture looks really eerie, and very cool.
Okay, there are several points in this picture I don't like, but also there's a reason I still have it in this archive. The main reason is how detailed the picture is. The second is how strange it all looks, not having any background, just a big piece of chocolate, and, as a bonus, who doesn't like to look at chocolate? The picture was taken during a summer day where Alina and I was lying in a park in Trondheim.
Here we see a train tunnel going from Lerkendal, and this is really a place a passed many times when I was going back and forth to Alinas place before we moved. Every time I passed I wanted to catch a good picture of it, and every time I forgot, but luckily one time I actually remembered, and caught this one. I felt that taking this picture in colours would be a vaste, and it could not be justified in anything else but black and white.
Here's Alina and I huddle up in bed together, waking up at Steinan (Alinas old place). We had just woken up and I felt a kodak moment sneaking up on me. This picture later turned up on our wall, as a present from me to Alina. The picture itself looks really good, and there's not much I want to say about it, except that maybe my hand could have been slightly smaller..
Here's another nature pic. Just the typical vibrant kind where you realize how pretty nature can look just by capturing it on a digital memorystick. The story on this is about the same as the train tunnel. I passed it several times during fall, but finally remembered to take a picture of it.
We had breakfast one morning, and instead of having the teabag string outside the cup, it ended up inside the cup. Turns out this made the note and rock sugar on the bottom really light up, and turn the bottom of my tea-cup into a very pretty motive.
Nature, I love taking pictures of it, and partially hate being in it. This one was taken when Alina and Me was going hiking in Levanger. There were these lovely fields everywhere, and it was so bright. I caught this picture when it was turning afternoon and the sun was starting to set. I'm pretty happy with it, as I really feel I caught what I was seeing as we passed there that day.
Here is another one from our trip to Levanger for some hiking. This is close to HIST, where there are fields all around. I'm not sure why it's just grass, but it looked very vibrant and sharp. Only problem I have with this picture is the lamp posts on top from the parking lot, but at the same time, they don't really mean that much.
I feel this picture might have turned a bit too dark, but at the same time, having only the half part of the face as the main focus, gives this picture a kind of eerie look to it.
This was taken about the same time as the picture of Elin, and is of Julian. I don't think this picture was that great, as it is slightly blurred, alltough it turned out ok after a run through some filters. Still, I will no doubt be trying to capture a better picture.
This was taken during the first weeks with my new camera. I was taking a lot of pictures of my friends that day, as we were on a cafe and I have started taking my camera with me everywhere I go. Here I captured a very good picture of Elin, just a couple of days after she left for an around the world trip.
I took this picture when Alina and me were up at Lian and picking blueberries. I was experimenting allot with close up shots of various plants and found this to be one of the more successful ones.
This photo was taken while I was experimenting with my camera in our living room. I find the dark contrast on our shelf really hypnotizing.
At work we have a break room, and in that break room these two candles are set up on the table. Kenneth at work was very eager to try and capture a good picture of them, but after a few tries, I finally took over and managed to capture this one. It's not a very good picture, as there are several elements in it that distract (mainly scratches and dirt), but I like the way the focus is settled on the candle in front, and the one in the back being out of focus.
Alina at the beachwalk near our hotel. I'm so increadibly pleased by this picture, as she looks so very happy, the colours are so right, and the backdrop blurs out nicely, which gives her a well lit frame to be placed in.
We were at the Canary islands, and Alina and I was walking along the beach. We came upon a cacti plant, and I decided it would be cool if I could capture some good shots of this one. I like the way it turned out. The spikes make it look scary, yet the slight twirl of the plant makes it look not so frightening.
I do believe this is a cacti plant, but I don't know what kind. We came across this one in the Canary Islands, and figured it would be a good picture. It was the only red spot noticeable in the otherwise cold and sandy area we were in.
